My Favorite Louis Vuitton Handbags and What I Want to Add Next
I started my luxury handbag collection 8 years ago. The first bag I purchased was the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere 30 in the Damier Ebene canvas from the LV Boutique inside Saks Fifth Avenue. I bought that bag as a gift to myself for a milestone birthday. Years later, my Louis Vuitton handbag collection has slowly grown to include four bags. I chose the Speedy B 30 because of its versatility. In terms of size, it’s not too big or too small. I also like that it can be worn as a top handle, shoulder bag or cross-body bag.
Additionally, the Damier Ebene print is pretty much care free and can be worn regardless of weather conditions. The next LV bag I acquired is the Eva clutch in monogram canvas. I bought this one pre-loved from Yoogi’s Closet. This bag is also versatile. It comes with a short chain strap and a long leather strap. It can be worn on the shoulder, handheld and cross-body. This bag is small, but mighty because it fits the essentials. The Eva Clutch has since been discontinued, so if you’re interested in it, you’ll have to buy it pre-loved.The LV Neverfull MM in the Monogram canvas was next to be added to the collection. I purchased it from the Louis Vuitton store in the mall in Charlotte. I felt like I needed a tote, and the Neverfull fit the bill. It’s the perfect size for an everyday bag.
The last LV bag I purchase is the Alma BB in black Epi leather. The Alma is a classic, and I love that with the BB size, I can wear it as a top handle and cross-body bag. The Epi leather is durable, which is an added benefit. Also, I like that the bag has silver hardware, because I don’t have a black handbag with silver hardware in my collection.I’d like to add at least two more LV bags to my collection, one in the Reverse Monogram Canvas and one in Monogram Empreinte Leather. I think the Cannes bag is unique and looks nice in Reverse Monogram. I’d like the Pochette Metis in black Empreinte Leather.
