7 Books I Plan to Read by the End of the Year

At the start of the year, one of the things I told myself I wanted to do more of was read. As a young girl, I was an avid reader. I read all of the Baby Sitter’s Club books, the American Girl (Addy) books, books written by Helen Keller, Omar Tyree, among others. Reading was one of my favorite things to do. Since that time, I’ve read a few Christian books by authors like Joyce Meyer and Cindy Trimm. Reading books has fallen off of my list of favorite things to do. Although I really enjoy reading blogs and articles, I want to make reading books more of a priority. You might be wondering why my plan is to read seven books. Well, I heard that those who read seven or more books per year are more likely to become millionaires compared to those who read fewer books, or those who don’t read books at all. I’m not a millionaire yet, but I figured I’d better get started on the right path if I want to one day reach that status. Most of the books I plan to read fall into the categories of Faith/Inspiration, Career/Entrepreneurship and Marriage/Womanhood. Check out my book list below. A few of them I’ve read before (Battlefield of the Mind, Power Thoughts and The 5 Love Languages), but I feel it’s necessary to revisit them from time to time. Of course there are more than seven books listed, but my goal is to get through at least seven by the end of the year. The ones I don’t get to, I’ll add to next years list.If you have any book suggestions, leave them in the comments below and let me know why you think I should read a particular book.Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce MeyerBecoming by Michelle ObamaFrom Mopping Floors to Making Millions on Instagram by Ronne BrownYou Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living An Awesome Life by Jen SinceroInfluencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media by Brittany HennesyThe Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie OmartianThe 5 Love Languages by Gary ChapmanThe 4-Hour Work Week by Tim FerrissGirl, Wash Your Face by Rachel HollisPower Thoughts by Joyce MeyerFearless Faith + Hustle: 21-Day Devotional Journey by Arian SimoneBig Idea Food: A Weekly Devotional for Entrepreneurs, Side Hustles and Dreamers by Marlena Banks
