Recently, I found myself in a dilemma. I had decided to go to an event at the last minute, leaving me with only twenty minutes to get ready before departure time. For those of you who know me personally, you know that twenty minutes is not enough time for me to get ready. After all, I had not done my hair, makeup or picked out what I was going to wear. As a result, I began to get a little nervous because I knew I couldn’t make my fiancé late to his event. Since he would be driving and we had an hour long commute, I knew that I would be able to do my hair and makeup in the car, if necessary. What was I going to wear, though?I began looking in my closet for something to wear. I was disappointed because although I found several options, everything I picked out needed to be ironed, and I didn’t have enough time for that. Suddenly, I stumbled upon my tried and true jumpsuit and thought to myself, “why didn’t I think of this earlier”? The jumpsuit is the perfect outfit to wear when you need to look chic, but don’t have much time to get ready. That particular jumpsuit didn’t need to be ironed so that was a double win for me! I threw on some simple stud earrings, a statement necklace and some cute shoes, and I was dressed before my fiancé (believe me, that’s a miracle)!Ladies, always remember, when you’re in a bind and need something classy to wear to an event, wearing a classic jumpsuit is always a great idea. Jumpsuits are easy to dress up or down and they always make you look pulled together. If you don’t have a jumpsuit, run out and get one now! I recommend you start with a black or navy blue one, then begin to add jumpsuits in different prints and bold colors. What clothing item do you gravitate towards when you’re in a hurry and need something to wear?
