3 Ways to Look Good in White
I know people say you should not wear white after Labor Day but who are “these” people and why should I have to follow “their” rules? When it comes to fashion, I tend to create my own rules. Make sure your clothing is not too tight.Wearing clothing that is ill fitting is bad in itself, but wearing an all white outfit that is too small is just plain terrible. Make sure you are wearing the size that fits you best (regardless of the number) so that you can move around comfortably in your outfit.2. Wear the proper undergarments.I am so thankful that my mom taught my sisters and I the importance of undergarments. From a very young age, I remember always wearing a slip under dresses and skirts and an undershirt beneath blouses. To this day, I always wear undergarments under these types of items. Sometimes when you wear white or other light colors, you can see through the garment if it is made out of a thin material and/or does not already come fully lined. That’s when having the proper undergarments is imperative. Whenever I’m wearing anything in a light color, I always wear undergarments in tan, nude or white. This helps to keep my entire look polished.3. AccessorizeAccessorizing adds visual appeal to an outfit. I chose to accessorize by adding pearl earrings and a pearl bracelet with gold detail. The gold detail in the earrings and bracelet compliment the gold sling back heels. These jewelry choices add a simple yet elegant charm to the look.I hope you find these tips to be helpful.
